Family Photo Time

Well as you can see, we got our Family Pictures done. Needless to say, we didn't get a one that was perfect. This will have to do for our Christmas cards. From our noses running, our bums getting wet, our hands and feet all wet and cold. I must say, "I'm glad it's over". Hope you enjoy.

Christmas Program

Hanah and Cade had a School Christmas Program this week. They did very well. Each of them sang 4 songs. Let it snow (whole school), Must be Santa (whole school), Mele Kalimaka (Cade's class), Jingle Bell Rock (Hannah's class), and I saw mommy kissing santa clause (whole school). It was a fun evening.

Happy Holidays

We tried to keep the little kids entertained with the Fisher Price Nativity Set. As you can see that didn't work out to well. McKenzie and McKay still found their way into their Dad's lap and helping.

Jaron showing his love for putting up Christmas Decorations.

Smile Hannah, because your Mom, looks aweful. What a bad hair day. I am so glad I had her help. I still can't believe she is 10.

Go Cade and McKenzie

Look at my baby. He is even putting up his own ornaments. Every year my Mom buys the kids a new ornament. They usually revolve around something they are interested in, or did, or just something they liked. This is so when they leave the house they have ornament to decorate their tree. They just love to put up all of their ornaments and reminise about each one. I guess I shouldn't complain about how cluttered my tree looked this year, because one day it will be bare.

They are all still smiling. What a successful Family Home Evening. Amazing. Here is some of our other decorations the Kids helped with.

A year of many Blessings.

I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving. Here at the Ricks home I have so much to be thankful for.
*We are all in good health.
*I have an amazing Husband who will do anything for me and our kids. He even doesn't complain when he has to change a dirty diaper. I am so lucky he chose me to be his eternal companion.
* I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
*I have a Heavenly Father who loves me unconditionally.
*I have a prophet today that shares his love and wisdom of the gospel.
* I have 4 amazing children.
*Hannah, who is such a big help around the house, a great big sister and a amazing dancer. I love here laugh, it is contagious. She is very smart and thoughtful of others.
* Cade, who is the peace maker and example to all. He is my Mormon. He is an amazing little piano player and is good at anything he sets his mind to.
* McKenzie, is my shy little firecracker. She really knows when I needs a good laugh,, she is a great big sister to McKay. She loves to sing the primary songs that makes my heart melt.
*McKay, is McKay, I love it when he is good. He also loves to sing the Primary Songs. Which usually makes me cry. I love his hugs and kisses (which he is very stingy with), I love his green eyes, his cheesy smile and his long eyelashes. I love to watch him play football with his Dad. He is going to be my future feild goal kicker.
* As you can see I have lots to be thankful for. And last but not least, my family, they are my rock. I love the example they are to me. I am always in aw when I am around them. This Thanksgiving I was able to spend time with them and eat a great meal. Mom, you did it once again, the best food ever. Dad, you carve a turkey like no other. Sorry there are no photos, forgot the camera. But I hope you know and realize how thankful I am for all we have. I truly have been blessed. May you take a moment and reflect upon all you have to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving.

TRICK OR TREAT

What a day. First off, DesiRae and I decided we were going to dress up before we went to Hannah, Cade, Trevor and Kelsie's school. Their teachers had called and asked us to come help with the Halloween Parties they were having. So what a better time to show up and embarass our kids. And boy did we ever. We even dressed up the Van. We had a great time posing as Boise State fans. I haven't had that much fun in a long time. We also had McKenzie and McKay be our little cheerleader and Buster the Bronco, to complete the entourage.
