Christmas Day 2008
Christmas was a great day. We all enjoyed it. Especially when Dad finally made it home. Jaron called @ 6:30a.m. from work saying, "I'm not going to make it home. They closed the roads due to blowing and drifting snow". I was so sad. At 7:30 a.m. the kids woke up just as Jaron called back saying,"We are going to try to make it through the roads." So we waited and waited for daddy to get home. We ate cinnamon rolls and sticky buns while we waited. He finally made it home about 9 a.m. Thanks to Stoney's Truck.
We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. I know we did. We were truly blessed to spend it together as a family.
Cade was so excited as you can see, we finally broke down and bought a Wii..

Christmas Program
Hanah and Cade had a School Christmas Program this week. They did very well. Each of them sang 4 songs. Let it snow (whole school), Must be Santa (whole school), Mele Kalimaka (Cade's class), Jingle Bell Rock (Hannah's class), and I saw mommy kissing santa clause (whole school). It was a fun evening.

Happy Holidays
We tried to keep the little kids entertained with the Fisher Price Nativity Set. As you can see that didn't work out to well. McKenzie and McKay still found their way into their Dad's lap and helping.

Smile Hannah, because your Mom, looks aweful. What a bad hair day. I am so glad I had her help. I still can't believe she is 10.
Go Cade and McKenzie

Look at my baby. He is even putting up his own ornaments. Every year my Mom buys the kids a new ornament. They usually revolve around something they are interested in, or did, or just something they liked. This is so when they leave the house they have ornament to decorate their tree. They just love to put up all of their ornaments and reminise about each one. I guess I shouldn't complain about how cluttered my tree looked this year, because one day it will be bare.
They are all still smiling. What a successful Family Home Evening. Amazing. Here is some of our other decorations the Kids helped with.
