Happy Anniversary Jaron

Today is our Anniversary. Pretty funny how old we look now compared to the day we got married. I never would have dreamed what life would be like after 14 years. If someone would had told me you would have a house full of kids, you would be a mother to almost a teenager, I would have laughed and said, "only in your dreams". But guess what, I have four beautiful kids, with the man I am still deeply in love with. I guess you can say, I made the right choice when I married Jaron. He is truely a man of Integrity, a hard worker and provides for our family well. He is thoughtful and very helpful with the kids and around the house. I am so glad that we still do everything together, from cleaning the house, to mowing the lawn, planting a garden, building a fence, working on the house or houses, grocery shopping, or putting the kids to bed, we are usually together. I am glad to share those things with him and hope we can always do it together. (because he does have me for all eternity...) I am so blessed to have him in my life, and that he is truely my best friend. I love you and Happy Anniversary Jaron!!!

Friends, Fun, Vegas

What a great weekend. For Memorial weekend the 6 of us, Casey, DesiRae, Daryl, Jen, and us, went to Vegas. The guys had tickets to the UFC fight and us girls went to see Terry Fator, (Winner of Americas got Talent). It was a really good show, I laughed so hard that my cheeks hurt. As you can see the weather was perfect. We played in the pools during the day and played on the strip at night. I even rode the roller coaster at New York, New York. A little scary but survived. Thank you Casey for having a birthday in Vegas, we had a blast...
Also thank you, thank you, Mindy and Ryan you are truly saints for taking our 4 kids, so we could play. Thanks again for all your help and making this possible. The kids had a great time.

Cade's Talent Show Performance

Every year Cade's school holds auditions for their Talent Show. Each class gets to send only one kid to perform for the whole school as well as friends and family. Last year and this year Cade was chosen. He is a great pianist and really plays from the soul. We are so proud of his talent and love hearing him practice as well as perform. It takes a lot of guts to play in front of your peers. Way to go Cade.

Cade, also participated in a piano recital this spring. He had to memorize 2 pieces and play them for a judge. He did great, he scored a 98 out of 100 and had memorized over 5 pages of music. He does a great job of pushing himself to excell.

Hannah's Dance Competitions

Thank You Amy, for another amazing year. Our girls did a really great job. They took 1st at all the competions as well as Best of Show and Best technique awards. We had the opportunity this year to attend Dance National Competition this year in Draper, Utah. Our girls did great. The competition was stiff but still came out on top. Her is photos of Hannah in some of her fun dance outfits.

This just makes my feet hurt. But don't they look amazing?

McKenzie's Pre-School Graduation

Can you believe it she goes to Kinergarten next year. I can't believe it has been 5 years. She has grown and mutured so much the last 2 years. She is so excited and ready to be big. I am not sure mom is ready for her to be that big. Mrs. Hansen, was an awesome teacher. I just hope she can handle another Ricks' kid next year.

EASTER SUNDAY

Easter Sunday was filled with a lot of fun. First off we attended our church services and then headed to Utah. While there we had the opportunity to take a tour of the Church's Conference Center. After we finished that, we surprised Hannah with a ticket to see "WiCkED" the musical. As you can see from the photo she is still in shock. All she could keep saying when we reached our seats was, "they are really going to do the play Wicked, right here on this stage," I would say, "yes, they are". She was so excited for it to start and know for herself, that we were truely going to see "WiCkeD" , she couldn't hold still. I had a great laugh that we did pull it off. "Surprise Hannah." Well if you are one of those out there wondering what Wicked is, it is a play based on the view of the Wicked Witch . It is very good, the music is fabulous and the dancing is a joy to watch. It is truely a must see.

Hannah, and you thought your Mom couldn't keep a secret... We bought the tickets around the 1st of December.

Great seats...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CADE

Since we were going to be gone for Cade and McKenzie's birthday we needed to celebrate their Birthdays with the grandparents and cousins before we left for St. George. Here is Cade and McKenzie blowing out their Birthday Cake and Homemade ice cream .

So before we left the warm weather, Cade wanted to play golf for his birthday. Well since Uncle John was not there to take Cade (real) golfing, we settled for a Miniture Golf course. We had so much fun. And needless to say, "Cade cleaned our plows..." He is the only one with real talent and patience in this family for golf.
