Dance Competition 2010

Our dance team is just amazing!!! Not only do they look good, they have done great at the competitions they have paricipated in so far.... Nationals this year was held in Draper, Utah. They received 1st place on all their dances but the show number got 2nd. Last weekend they went to Utah Championship Competition in Roy, Utah and they received 1st on all their dances as well as overall performance and audience appeal for their hip hop and large show number. Way to go Downtown Dance...

Hannah, I hope you know just how amazing you are. It is a joy to watch you dance. I love the energy and technic you put into your dance. You are beautiful and a joy to watch.

McKay's Stitches

Once again McKay received Stitches. This time he only got 3. He was climbing out of the tub and slipped and hit his chin on the edge. As soon as he hit we knew we were going in. So we hurried and put on some pajamas and went to Urgent Care just about the time they closed. So needless to say, they were not getting to leave work on time. I hate people that do that, and here we were one of them.... Oh the joy of having kids.

Family Birthday Party for Kenzie and Cade

Due to Cade and Kenzie's Birthday so close together, we always have the family party together. They had a great time and really loved all the fun things they received... Here is a recap of the evening.

Cade's new Scooter...

Kenzie got an art easel and new stroller for her dolly, and a new bike. But for some reason I have no photos of her new bike. I guess by this time I was too tired to care. Sorry Kenzie!

Cade's 10th Birthday Party

Cade decided for his birthday he wanted to go to Jensen Grove and play Frisbe Golf.... Well low and behold it SNOWED.... I know we live in Idaho but seriously it is April... So plan B went into effect and we went to the church and did our own version of Frisbe Golf. The boys all got their own frisbe and they loved it. They played basketball, and dodge ball as well. The boys also got to ride Cade's new Moped...

McKenzie's 6th Birthday

This year I let Kenzie have her very own Birthday Party. So since her birthday was a week before Easter, we had a easter egg hunt. We also colored eggs, had lunch, and played on the trampoline.

This year Hannah joined in the fun.... Cade, Jaron and Hannah all had a fun winter on the slopes.

Sick Day @ Lava

One day in February, I had finally had it, I kept the kids home from school and we went to Lava Hot Springs to sweat out our colds. I was so sick of having kiddos with colds. So we called our good friend Mindy and she brought Lexie along. It was so nice and relaxing, I thought we ought to do this more often.... But, I don't think the school district would approve. They should we all felt better by the end of the week.
