EASTER SUNDAY

Easter Sunday was filled with a lot of fun. First off we attended our church services and then headed to Utah. While there we had the opportunity to take a tour of the Church's Conference Center. After we finished that, we surprised Hannah with a ticket to see "WiCkED" the musical. As you can see from the photo she is still in shock. All she could keep saying when we reached our seats was, "they are really going to do the play Wicked, right here on this stage," I would say, "yes, they are". She was so excited for it to start and know for herself, that we were truely going to see "WiCkeD" , she couldn't hold still. I had a great laugh that we did pull it off. "Surprise Hannah." Well if you are one of those out there wondering what Wicked is, it is a play based on the view of the Wicked Witch . It is very good, the music is fabulous and the dancing is a joy to watch. It is truely a must see.

Hannah, and you thought your Mom couldn't keep a secret... We bought the tickets around the 1st of December.

Great seats...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CADE

Since we were going to be gone for Cade and McKenzie's birthday we needed to celebrate their Birthdays with the grandparents and cousins before we left for St. George. Here is Cade and McKenzie blowing out their Birthday Cake and Homemade ice cream .

So before we left the warm weather, Cade wanted to play golf for his birthday. Well since Uncle John was not there to take Cade (real) golfing, we settled for a Miniture Golf course. We had so much fun. And needless to say, "Cade cleaned our plows..." He is the only one with real talent and patience in this family for golf.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KENZIE and the DAM TOUR

Here are some more photos from our Spring Break trip. It has taken me a while to find them all and get them downloaded in to days and what we did each day. As you can see we are no longer in Utah. We decided to take McKenzie to Vegas for her 5th Birthday. We had so much fun.
Before we went on the Hoover Dam Tour

Aren't they cute?

Under the Dam. We learned that all the water that leakes through the walls is called (Seepage) they don't like the (L) word. They pump out 1500 gallons per minute 24 hours a day of Seepage. We had a great time learning about the dam. We also walked the Dam and went in to Arizona. Cade decided to call Grandpa and let him know he had one leg in Arizona and the other leg in Nevada. We had a great laugh and a really good time. The weather was nice and warm.

Not only did we celebrate Kenzie's birthday in Vegas, we also toured some of the sights. We also had to go back to the hotel for Cake. It was so good and just the right amount. Don't we all just love birthdays at this age. Kenzie turned 5. We love her and her great personality. She always has us laughing and giggling until we have to tell her to calm down. So we don't have to keep laughing so hard.

HAPPY BIRHTDAY KENZIE!!!

Cade's new Hobby (SNOWBOARDING)

Cade and Jaron, have enjoyed going out this season, snowboarding. They both now have something that only they can do. Jaron still can't believe how good Cade, is for this being his 1st year. The second time Jaron and him hit the slopes Cade was already hitting the jumps like the big boys. Cade, always came home cold, sore, and tired, but with a grin a mile wide. WAY TO GO!!!

Max John Ricks

In February, Jaron lost his dad to a sudden Heart Attack. He is greatly missed. It has really sent our family in a tail spin. Jaron, has peace and a greatfulness for all our friends and family who were there to share their love and support. Your prayers were felt and very much appreciated. It seems somedays like this could not be possible, and other days we feel the blessings he is sending from above. This has taken some time to journal, for my thoughts and mind set was not at peace yet with the out come. I know now that our Heavenly Father knows our needs and is there to bless us when we lack the faith. I am greatful to have known such a wonderful man. We love and miss you papa.

In Loving Memory of Max J. Ricks
